The International Beer Bar, the flagship business of MGC Gastro AG opened its doors in December 2014, becoming Zurich's first Craft Beer Bar.
Since then we've experienced continual year-on-year growth of about 20% as well as optimised business processes. Among the activities that have allowed us to improve margins is importing beer ourselves and working directly with Swiss Craft Brewers. We pride ourselves on serving the freshest and best kept beer in Zurich.
In order to improve our beer storage and optimise the beer lines, we would like to build a custom secondary beer fridge for kegs. We've also got plans for improving the seating for guests both inside the bar and in our garden. With that we hope to attract more guests earlier in the day and improve each person's experience at the IBB.
The increased capacity and further optimisations should increase revenues by at least CHF 3000/month.
